Cain says Obama impeachment would be 'a great thing'

politicalmugshot

(CNN) – Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain said it would be "great" to impeach the president, but that the Democratic controlled Senate would prevent such action.
On a conference call with bloggers Tuesday night, the former Godfather's Pizza CEO called the health care law and the Obama administration's stance over the Defense of Marriage Act impeachable offenses.

The news was first reported by POLITICO and later confirmed to CNN by the Cain campaign.

Impeach Obama Protest Will Greet Obama in San Diego

Ben Johnson, The White House Watch

Move over Occupy Wall Street; the impeach Obama rallies are going viral.
As veterans and patriotic Americans gather Friday morning in Washington, D.C., to protest for Barack Obama’s immediate resignation or impeachment, they will have a counterpart rally in San Diego — complete with a sky banner proclaiming “IMPEACH OBAMA” — just as the president plans to visit the city.

The stunning stunt, flying a banner overhead just hours before Obama was expected to visit the USS Carl Vinson to watch a college basketball game scheduled on its deck, rattled more than a few individuals, as the pilot for the banner company reported the tower told him to "depart the area," because there were "a lot of telephone calls" coming in.
National Sky Ads, which flew the banner, reported to WND, "Our pilot was told to move even though we were not in restricted air space."
The company added, "We circled North Island until the tower moved us out due to phone calls."
